As revealed at the Christmas Bash, here are the answers to the quiz:
Congratulations to the winners.
Back by popular demand (well somebody asked me if I would do another one
this year!), here is this year's Christmas Quiz. Answers (and maybe a
prize) at the Christmas Bash on the 17th December (Answers will be
posted on the mailing list afterwards).
Please email your answers directly to me and not to the list.
For a bit of variation, this year some of the questions may have a
science fiction and/or a computer angle, but I will not tell you
which!Be prepared to waste hours (or days!) visiting some very obscure
corners of the internet. There is at least one trick question.
I am looking for feedback on how much people would be prepared to pay for entrance to next years event.
Please vote here if you have not already done so.
Well, it's finally over, LugRadio Live UK 2008 has finished as has the podcast. To sum it up in one word, Wow.
Just a few of the many highlights:
Friday night at the Hogshead - so many people and meeting people who know of me by reputation.
The Chinny Racoon.
Andy Robinson's OSM talk was very well attended and from what I saw there was a steady stream of visitors to the OSM stand. Alex's A0 plots of the Wolverhampton city centre showed just what can be achieved by this project.
The LugRadio team have announced that the show will end with the recording at LRL UK 2008.

I will be sorry to see the show go, it has been great fun to listen to and the LugRadio Live events have always been highly enjoyable. Through this I have met people that I would have had little or no chance of meeting otherwise, so thanks guys for a great show.
Help set the record for the most software downloaded in 24 hours.
