Over the weekend of 19th & 20th July 2008, several hundred Linux users from all over the world will be descending on The Lighthouse Media Center, Chubb Buildings, Fryer Street, Wolverhampton, WV1 1HT for LugRadio Live UK 2008.
LugRadio Live is the largest British community driven event for the
members of the worldwide Linux community and attracts a wide range of
interested parties. LugRadio Live is an event that has developed a strong reputation for
providing a range of topics about Free Software, Open Source, digital
rights, technology and more. This reputation has been developed by
supplying a compelling list of speakers and exhibitors, all wrapped into
a unique, fun, loose, social and inclusive event, which has been
described as combining the atmosphere of a rock concert and a computer
conference.
LugRadio Live UK 2008 will bring 30 speakers, over 20 exhibitors and
plenty of additional sessions such as a debate discussion panel, a
showcase of five minute talks, tech demos, and of course a live
recording of LugRadio in front of an audience.
The event will include an exhibition of various Linux related
technologies, products and organisations.
