A few of you will know that I have been unwell recently.
The situation is that at the begining of December 2013, I was diagnosed with a form of heart disease known as Atrial Fibrillation. The main symptom of this is an iregular heart beat.
The condition seems to be responding well to medication. The current concern is getting the warfrin dosage right, which requires varying my diet (to get the level of vitamin K stable) and to take the correct amount of warfrin each day. The hardest part is the number of vitamin K rich foods that I like (including mature cheese, blue cheese). I am also on beta blockers to stabilise my heart rate, which has resulted in me having to withdraw from competitive shooting.
